~Selamat Menyambut Hari Merdeka!!~

Nostalgic??
I tried to use BM to post,in the end..I gave up..I don't even know how to write a proper paragraph anymore..Sighs..Anyway,Happy Independance Day Malaysia..
My first flight to Borneo..

Hari Merdeka, the only memory I had when I grew up was the marchings and parades shown on television every year,be it at Dataran Merdeka or at another state.I remember since young,I like to take note of the band from Chong Hwa Secondary school, the school my mum first started teaching and end up 30years there before she transfered to a school nearby my house.I like to see the dances performed by mutiracial groups of people in colourful costumes..I remember being excited when the jet planes flew over my house in loud roaring sounds with perfect synchrony..And of course the array of fireworks I could see from my double storey house back then..Every year its the same routine, yet every year without fail,I enjoyed it..Or should I say I enjoyed the holidays that comes with it=P

Mount KK..
Fast forward to 2007,there's no more Merdeka television programme here in Japan..No celebrations and no,as my sister puts it:"Biggest fireworks in the history of Malaysia" on tv as well. The only thing I did was sending 30messages to my friends in Japan and in Malaysia wishing them "Selamat Hari Merdeka".A chance to talk to my Malay friends,to contact long lost-contact friends, and get a feel of Merdeka celebration in Malaysia from Weng Huat and my sis.(Chee Wei and Alex, you guys dun even bother to reply?!?!?!?)I guess that's about it,it's raining here, want to celebrate also no 'suasana meriah' to join in the fun.Unlike those who can celebrate at the Embassy of Malaysia..

Sunset at Labuan..
Receiving JPA scholarship is THE most lucky thing in my life.I never did dislike Malaysia, and unlike some of my friends, despise Malaysia's corruption..If I were to be in Malaysia, maybe I'm still the fool who knows nothing,or care nothing about Malaysia. However,I was given the chance to see what Malaysia has to offer,to give and to share..Sure,Malaysia has it's bad side, but it has a lot of good too,I think we shouldn't just see the bad side and forget the good it has offered.Anyhow, I hope that given the chance,I can prove myself worthy of this scholarship and contribute back to Malaysia.

Well,I've said enough.I have to get back to my studies.Just made a HK friend through Skype..Reminds me of ICQ where you get to know friends online etc..Those were the days..Never thought it'll happen right now..haha..7days more to Matta fair..I wanna book a flight!!!Craps..Jyane
