hellloooooo ppl...yup,I'm back from singapore..not just a few minutes ago lar,but early this morning..reached here bout 4.15am..sooo,as u all would have expected this blog is all gonna be about watashino trip to Singapore!!!so,ppl..if u are too bored with ur own holidays,by all means do not read this blog,cuz it'll oni make u feel overzealous as yeah,I'm gonna constuct my blog here in a very detail way of my 3days 2 nights in Singapore..so bewarned..
Well,it was tuesday nght,and my scheduled bus leaves at 11.59pm..like wat i have stated in my previous blog di..so left kina early,pulling my mum,ragging in fact cuz i dun wanna be late..so,better safe than sorry right??left around 10.30pm cuz i expected a jam,as usual in KL right??but no,it was a free flow that night so urm..arrived kinda early..and yeah,mum had to make sure that one of my friend was already there before bidding me goodbye..so wat if i ait alone??really dun understand wats the big deal..so my friend and i went and have some drinks at the opposite stall while waiting for another friend..and glad to note thatMalaysian males are not so un-gentlemanly after all,haha..yalar,though its a very small gesture but wen my friend offered to carry my looked-very-heavy-for-a-small-build-gal-like-me bag,i was glad but din accept the offer..reason was,i don't see the need to when i can really carry the bag myself and i see no point adding a weight/burden to my friend who have to carry his own luggage..oh well,so here we went at 11.59pm sharp the bus took off..not before ome embarrasing moments by mua..well,i saw the designated number plate but forgot to check the paltform so nearly went dow the wrong one..sigh..my friends were all laughing at me but..so wat??
well,in the bus,its kinda hard to fall asleep cuz gotten used to late night sleeping and the lights outside the window from all the vehicles n lampost are kinda distracting..had a pretty rough time,and hate to say this but what the heck,this is wat blogging is about..i had to like err,be careful not to lie on my friend's sholders u see,so had to be semi-awake lar..i know its not a big deal but hey,dun wan my friend to have shoulder cramp mar,and cannot sleep larr..so..i dunno lar,so far nothing lo..leaned against the window..and well,know wat?(getting into some thoughts here)on the way there,peeped out the window and had saw the most magnificent sight of sparkling stars in the cloud-clear sky..really awesome and was dumbstucked by the beauty of the vew..really made me felt so insignificant compared to the million or trillions of stars of the universe..made me ponder,why are we so into our daily life of seeking what we call "mission/goal of our life" and not appreciate what we have around us?be it our family,fiends or simply the gifts of wat Mother Nature has to offer??i dunno..guess its just our responsibilites of being a human?to seek and to achieve wat we think is best for our future..
Getting sidetracked..erm,well,the journey took about 4.30 hours cuz we had stopped at a rest area for half an hour,which i think it's kinda like a compulsary thing..then we continued our journey..by this time,i'm really able to sleep well but alas,withen 1 hour we had reached the custom and had to get our passport checked..and again(why embarassing stuff always happens to me??)there's this machine that u can insert ur passport into and can get pass..well,my friend can get through while mine can't!!(later found out cuz my passport is a new one n the comp dun have my details so i cannot use the machine)So,since i'm creating a line,i had to runback to the line to get my passport checked manually..feeling kinda sheepish...haiz..wat ever lar,Malaysian custom is kinda old and wrecked compared to the Singapore one when we arrived 10 minutes later..though i've heard bout it from my friend but the diff is still kinda suprising..made me wonder whether my parents tax each year are being wellused or not??or simply Singapore is a more advanced country like many believe??i dunno..
got there safe and sound,and my friend was already waiting for us at the station..she looked so eager and more excited than i am,fatigue i suppose due to insufficient sleep..thats wen i found out my friend had not really planned yet where to take us in singapore and she doesn't really know singapore that well for she oni stayed there for 5 months..God bless my male friend who just went to singapore last year adn had a vauge idea the best way of travelling around and places to go/..so after reaching my gf's house and scouting some map and breakfast,off we head to the nearby park and then lunch then oni our first stop of the day..China Town..oo,i bought the EZ link card too..easier to travel around rather than finding the exact amount for each bus or train ride..china town in singapore is really a place totally diferent from Malaysia's china town..
For one,its lots cleaner(in fact the whole country is) and more systematics and know what??it really sells things of chinese culture..whether or not its from China i dunno..went in o every shop and really EVERY shop there and looked at the stuffs available..go my mum a lipstck casing which i canot find in Central market and tats bout it..serious..though we went every shop,nothing really interest me to buy as i found its not worth it anyway..so..as it was day 1 thought it might be better to save a little in case i need to use more throughout the next 2 days..had a little rest after all the walking in China Town and then head to sentosa island..
Its kinda cheap to enter Sentosa island considering we are talking about an island here..oni 3bucks in total..so,we entered the shuttle bus and we first visited the gigantic Merlion statue of the island..as expected more pics taken..then we went up to a garden which is so beautiful which prompt us...erm,yeah,,haha,to take more photos..thats what we can oni do rite??then we reached the top and there's this place where we can take pic with a real snake for 5 bucks!!i mean come on,i enter this island need on 2bucks and u expect me to take a photos with a creepy snake for 5 bucks..forget it larr..then we head to the beach in the island and stayed there the longest while one of my friend went and snoose off at the top of..dunno call wat..a stand while we admired the view of the sea and the island..saw a lot of bikini clad glas along the beach..not all singaporeans we saw,mostly foreigners..then,we had snack as we were all tired out from all the walking around..in 7-11..cuz we wanted to catch a show of the musical fountain so..speaking of the fountain,we managed to grab good spot but we were 1/2hour early so..we snoozed...yupz,right there on the seats..i nearlly fall ff the bench a couple of tmes..haha..the four of us was too exhausted so we dozzed off till the show began..it was spectacular,the show but too bad cannot take pics of the fountains cuz it was too dark..so..
After the show we left sentosa but the night was still young..we head to the wat u call that..the mouth of the river of Singapore,where the night view of Singapore is spectacular..saw a beautiful Fullerton hotel,and another Merlion..then we stolled around the city and enjoyed the nightlife there..went for drinks,stroll by a street wherby all the foreigners enjoyed their too-expensive-for-us-Malaysian-kids dinner..and yupz,its 11pm and we still head for Geylang streets,hehe..the so-called Chow Kit of Malaysia..hehe..for some sight-seeing of the GRO..was kinda spooky but it was and experienced..and that was the last stop of our first day trip in Singapore...gosh,how long i have to continue to end the whole blog??i dunno..hehe
As expected we woke up at 10.45am the next morning,the guys at 11am..dressed and out we went..hehe.to lunch at a hgh class restaurant with my gf's mum and the four of us really enjoyed the meal.. A LOT!!not oni the appetizers were good the main course was superb!first time tasted the best oysters and sashimi..the cheescakes were marvellous andother cuisines which i din botherd to remember the names..and ooohh,the view!!!the restaurant was located at the 70th floor of the hotel so its practically like KL tower of Singapore..the view is really...no word to describe di..the horizon we were able to see was so huge and gorgeous..really enjoyed it..o,the restaurant was called the Equinocs..gotta remember that..hmm..then we head to Orchard Road where all the decorations for Christmas is all up and her mum took us to visit the clubs where we intend to go later that night..haha.yupz,her mum introduces us the best clubbing area,cool huh??well,we went and bought tickets for a movie of Umizaru in the teatre nearby cz the show its not availble yet in Malaysia,and then we stopped by Manadarin hotel cuz i HAD to visit my Aunt..strolled around the shopping centre,nohing much actually everything there is available here in KL,so din get anything oso..afer the movie (was ok) and we strolled around Orchard Road where by now,the light are all out..a pretty sight bt not really breath-taking i can say..we walke the whole of Orchard Road,spent some tme watchng some street performers who are performing in the aid for charity.WE even got to ride on a double-decker topless(as in rooftop lar) and stroll around to admire the lights of Orchard far off the grond..nice,breezy and amazing i would add....my gf was kinda quiet and though i asked a zillion of time she just wouldn't tell me wats wrong..latr found out she felt inferior cuz she's supposed to show us around and yet she doesn't really know much..i mean,come on lar,i dun mind acually u're there for oni 5 months mar...even if its me,i bet i dunno oso ler..
Well,she returned to her happy self wen we had our dinner..spent quite long thre,one,to kill time before we got clubbing the other,we're enjoying chatting among each other..then clubbing!!the event of the day!!i know,i know,i sound like a small kid but hey,this is my first clubbing so of cuz excited larr..the first one was kinda boring cuz it was like..not even one quater of the club was full even though its 1 am!!so after trying out tequila pop and vodka light(which was suprisingly nice) we head to another club..and it was like wow!!!this is wat a really disco shold be really like!!the music was cool and the it was...noisy and lively..the whole place was packed!!and for the first time i saw bar ancing like those in Coyote Ugly...as both place were ladies night i dun have to pay a single cent!!and free flow for drinks but din took any at the 2 nd club cuz was bc dancing!!really,enjoyed myself and danced like a maniac..was kinda disappointed my gf wouldn't wanna budge and loosen herself a little and just sat there the whole night..accompanied her sometmes,danced sometimes so it was pretty ok i guess..the great thing is,they really make everyone leave at 3am..i think its n the law..how well disciplined..i like it!!haha..so went back and my gf looked as if she's not been sleeping for days..and we enjoyed some tiramisu from her cousin..was again,delicious as it was made from a French baker..was nice..really,though i've never tasted any tiramisu b4the cake is simply smooth and tasty...
this time around,we woke up at12pm..haha..too tired,i had too pull all 3 of them up too..got dressed and we head to the zoo..snoozed of f more in the taxi..haha..and as expected..we spent the entire day there..and the very visible difference between the zoo there n the zoo here in Malaysia is that the actually allows the animals to live in
a very comfortable habitat and allows a lot of room for them to roam about..and we can actually see the animals alive and lively unlike the ones n malaysia where sometimes we can barely see the animals available..the day spent at the zoo was ok,went for a sea lion show and then watch expect??see more animals and tkaing pics oni lo..kinda boring i should think if a person reads bout it,but i really enjoyed looking at the animals..thenaround 6.15pm,we head off to Geylang again for a dinner of fried delicacies with warm soy bean milk..kinda delicious,not bad lar..the guys even managed to get the pig-made satay which they have been so eager to taste throughout the trip..it was totally different from the usual satay,softer and juicier than chicken.really nice..then,had to rush back for a quick shower cz its leaving time!!!so sad..as usualu all good things gotta come to an end..
left with pretty lotsa cash but dunno wat to get in the last minute so..empty-handed and retured to Malaysia..One of my male friends managed to get a whole variety of Mentos sweets before leaving which is not available in Malaysia..regretted for not doing so too..but too late for that now..as usual get passe the customs and stff and my,this time around the air-cond is damn cold..i was like freezing to death though with my jacket on..and cuz there's lotsa empty spaces,my frens went and took one of the places and slept comfortablly..so i sorta like curled up myself and slept comfortably alone..haha..and like i said before,reached here around 4am,and these Malaysian taxi rivers really can spoil our Malaysias image..they are so damn aggressive..had to ward them off all the way..annoying fellas..well,thats about it i guess..long winded story bout my trip in singapore so there..tomorrow's my last day of my hls..kinda sad and all the pressure is building up cuz while travelling with my 3 friends in singapore,they kinda like touched on topics about school and i felt kinda inferior..oh well,pressured or not,life have to go on..so,enjoying my last few hours here..depressing..haiz..till next week..
