~Money~

It was just a small talk while we ate the leftover cakes.
"Ti,you are a rich girl aren't you?"
I was taken aback,and asked my boss back.
"Why do you say so?"
And the conversation leads to another foreign student who was working at the same cake shop as me..

Like me,
He is a foreign student at my university.
And like me,
He has to do research during the day
And goes to the cake shop after our respective research ends.
But unlike me,
He intends to work after 10pm til 2am from now onwards.
To make more money.
To support his life in Japan.

It's not easy living in Japan,
Where the cost of living is so high.
Most of the foreign students here have to work hard to support themselves.
Unlike the lucky ones like me,
Who,not only don't have to pay for our education,
But still have a huge amount of cash coming in to support our daily life.

This small talk actually reminded me how lucky I am(and also a MSN chat with a long lost friend)
And that there are a lot of people out there who also deserves to be here..(including this MSN friend)
And also reminded me that I shouldn't spend money like the way I spend here.
And also reminds me that I shouldn't brag about my new car or new laptop..
When others could barely support their motorcycle..

I'm really lucky to be able to be here..
I'm going to make full use of it..
Because I was given the chance..
