~The Hard Way~

I have no idea why these things ALWAYS happens to me..Today,I woke up at 6.40am,just to catch the 7.32am bus,in time to catch the 7.58am train.Then I was also on time for the 8.22am bus and I safely reached my destination..

A place to apply for your driving license or motorbike license etc.

First of all,I was told to line up at Lane 1..So Lane 1 it is then..There are many types of license to apply for,and I was told to apply for 仮免許,can say a temporary license,because its my first time.So I got the form and everything and was told to go to Lane 22 for further instructions.So Lane 22 it was..And when it finally reached my turn..I was told "Nonono,the person at Lane 1 was wrong..Yours is Change of Foreign License to Japanese License" "Go back to Lane 1 to get your money and come here again at 9.30am"...

So back to Lane 1..There's Red Lane 1 and Blue Lane 1..I queued at Red Lane 1,which said Change of Foreign License but was told to queue AGAIN at Blue Lane 1..Say I was to claim my money there..WTH!!!So queue again,got back my money and a very curt sorry from them.Blah..

And I waited til 9.30am to go back to Lane 22.Only to have 2 bloody uncles cut my line if that's not irritating enough,try waiting for them spending 20 MINUTES at the counter..The Nigeria lady behind me was also getting impatient and was already "tsk tsk-ing" away..When they are finally gone,I was short of sighing out loud for them to hear..My nightmare did NOT ended there..After asking for my documents and especially my passport..

I was so "LUCKY" to meet a follow-the-rules-by-the-book Japanese..

He looked through my passport,front and back,all the dates I was in and out of the country.And was told..

"I'm sorry but I cannot allow you to take the exam."

WHAT THE HELL?!?!?

I was told that I cannot prove I've been in Malaysia for more than 3months after getting my license.Though I got my license in 2004 and came to Japan in 2006,I have no prove I was at Malaysia all that 2 years..because I just renewed my passport..And I was told to go back to retrieve the old one..Bloody hell..

It was 10am..

I managed to get back there at 1.40pm,after taking the bus-train-bus route again..I had to go again today because I was told that if I don't,maybe next time,the other guy won't understand my situation and won't approve my documents as well.Man...I don't see this as a huge issue lo..But anyway,I got my old passport,showed it to him and he went "OMG!!"

I was like "What now?!?!" inside me..

"I can see that you went to a lot of countries .Do you remember when is the first time you leave Malaysia?"

As if I can lar...So he went through my old passport and jotted the date one by one with the countries as well..Asked me where is Heathrow,Copenhagen etc..I dunno whether to laugh or cry at his efficientness..Anyhow,when he finally approve my documents,he asked me to come back again same time the next Mon,Tues or Thursday which I'm free,and be sure to queue at Lane 22 again..Goodness..After all the hassle,I still have to queue again..And what is same time?!?!9.30am?or earlier,8.30am??I finally managed to got home at 3.15pm,WITHOUT even sitting for the paper test,what more getting my driving license..#$&#(#%&(I"$#!%%(U

Why others here have no such problem one?A prove that I should go back to Malaysia more often?(I was told I weren't back to Malaysia for 2 years last time:p)So hard to find proof I've stayed in Malaysia for more than 3 months mer?What happened to the 20years before?!

Hah..Even me myself have no idea when is the next time I'm free to go again..Sien ar
