28th July 2007 Breakfast..haha..After a short stroll at 网师园(The Master-of-Nets Garden) we got ready for our next stop..

周荘..The top water town in China..At first I wondered what 'water town' was ..Until I arrive,I was then mesmerized..

The twin bridge(双桥),said that if you cross it it'll bring good luck and prosperity..Guess how many times I crossed it??=P

There was food stalls around also..and oh...I played with the costumes again..hehe..Have a look..The sport shoes are spoilers but still the pic is pretty cool...The thing on my head,HEAVY!!!!

Here,I learned about the history of 沈万三,one of the richest merchants of the Ming dynasty but was banned to Yunnan cause the Emperor felt threatened by his wealth..this merchant built the famous gate 聚宝门which is now known as 中华门.

This night view of this village was amazing..We got on this boat which made a round at the village,the boat rower sang local folk song which really made the night complete..I was thrown into ancient times..Calm and relaxed..I fell in love with this water village...不骗你们，真的有如梦境般，感觉很不踏实。。。有机会的话，我会再去周荘。。。
