~London~

29th December 2007

Had leftover Krispy Kreme for breakfast. It was good.First stop was Emirates Stadium..My,it was cold....

Then we went to Hampton Court where we spent 4hours there.Like Kensington Palace and Tower of London,Hampton Court is also one of the must see historical palace..
The entrance also so nice..

Very unique tree..

I love the gardens the best, but it was really freezing cold that I could barely feel my fingers..It was one of the rare days where there's actually sunlight but trust me,there was no warmth...

Manage to catch a play also..

Hampton Court from the garden..

There was maze built from bushes but too bad when we went there it was already closed..

Next was London Eye..The queue was long but one car was able to fit about 20people so it was pretty fast..The view there was breathtaking..
Then we went to take the nightview of the Parliament upclose,Big Ben and London Eye..

30th December 2007

Last day in London.Went to Westminster Abbey..Met Clement's friends then we went to Buckingham Palace to watch the changing of guards..Seeing the amount of people there, you'll be wondering that if we were there to see the Queen herself..

Then back to the Parliament,Big Ben that side for the daylight pictures...
A protestor at Downing Street..

Of taxis and phone booth..

Buckingham Palace again..(less people)

We then met Clement's friends for Dim Sum and went to their house for wine, talks and Stardust before heading to the Victoria Coach to catch the bus to Stansted Airport.Heading to Denmark the next day..

Denmark up next...(This would take forever...My real life is kinda busy..)

The bus ride from Cardiff to London took 3hours and 15minutes..We arrived at Victoria Coach Station and after leaving our stuff at the hostel,we went to Picadilly Circus(pic),

went to Chinatown and visit Burger King for their fries..The event of the day was Phantom of the Opera.Nothing beats real life theater..Though expensive but it's definetly worth it.Here in London, people usually go for shows than movies..

Then we went for a walk at Covent Garden before meeting Clement's friends for dinner..These are smart people who got various scholarships to study in UK..Envy...

28th December 2007

Kensington Palace, the State Apartments where Queen Victoria grew up in..Love the drawings on the wall, the tapestry, the silk drapes etc...So surreal..But photography is forbidden in the palace so I couldn't take any pics of the lavishness of the castle..what a pity..

There's pictures of Princess Diana too and I got to see myself THE garden where millions placed their roses when they mourned for her death..

The squirrels here are so tame and have really bushy tails..not like Malaysia's tiny little thing..

Walked around Kensington Garden,it was so huge that we gave up Hyde Park..

Next was Tower of London ...

Knight in Shining Armour anyone?

Tower Bridge..

Tower of London from Tower Bridge..The wind was strong!!

And oh..I managed to get Krispy Kreme after all..hehe..It was good..
