~A New Life~

I still haven't got my internet connection in my room, but I also realised that life without it isn't that hard after all.Of course beside the necessity of checking my e-mails(especially from The Embassy regarding my scholraship allowance each month),reading the Star online and checking blogs..I found that I've spent too much time on Youtube the last time.Of course, maybe when I got my internet back,I might go back to my old habit of spending hours watching Youtube, but now,I find myself having more time to do revisions, homework, housework and reading books which May Ching recommended..Well,suprise suprise..I thought I couldn't live without MSN or Youtube..

Well, things are starting to settle down here.I go to class, spend time mostly with Hana(a Malay girl whom I got to know when I was in the prepatory Japanese course in Malaysia) who's in the same class as me,get to know other classmates day by day but not so close yet,go home, relax or study.Weekend for the time being is even busier then school days.

I had May Ching and Tang Yii over to see my new house, then last week I went to May Ching's place in Kyoto for her house-warming-potluck-party.It was really fun getting to see new faces as well as 'old' faces..hehe..Then on Tuesday night the seniors staying nearby came over for card games which we had lotsa fun as well..And this weekend,I'm going to Tokyo for the annual Golden Week gathering.

As I have mentioned last year and the years before as well,Golden Week is like a 5day holiday where everyone in Japan gets to go..well,on a holiday. That's why its especially crowded in places like theme parks, shopping areas etc during this period of time.Having needed to study for my entrance exam last year,I missed the annual Malaysian-Chinese gathering in Tokyo last year so I'm going this year to catch up with some old friends whom I've not seen for a long time.

Well, another busy weekend to look forward to=)

ps: in case some people wonder,I'm currently using the internet connection in my Uni..

~Quickie~

Just a quickie..I'm trying to get used to new life in Uni,but although it has only been a week of classes,I'm really worn out..Due to the fact that not only classes,I still have to rush to get my visa, change my address etc.Really tiring..

Yesterday we our first guest from outside Toyohashi.Chin Leong paid us a visit because his ship stopped at Nagoya port.So we had dinner, chit chatted, saw his pictures of his life on the ship, pictures he took in Hawaii etc.Alas,I had an early class the next day so I bid the guys an early goodnight at midnight and went to bed.

Tomorrow,May Ching and Tang Yii will both come to Toyohashi.A good time to have fun after the tests I had this week.Yea,its only the first week and I already have tests.More to come next week.Sigh..

~New Place~

I have shifted to my new place in Toyohashi and for the next 3days I was busy unpacking, buying the furniture and necessities. But it was really cold there and I wasn't really "settled down" yet, even when I sleep I slept restlessly..So when Tang Yii invited me to join them for the annual Hanami at Osaka,I jumped at the chance to return to Suzuka, one,to go to the hanami and two,the meet the faces I missed a lot...friends who are still around here.I was really happy to see TY,Najwa,Saikhanaa,Kamarull,Zul,Zafuan and Fareeza again.Though they kept on joking that I wasn't even away for more than a week, still,it feels nice to be back to somewhere I'm familiar with.

I went to the Hanami, enjoyed meeting the juniors, seniors and enjoyed the sakura. Then I went to spent the night at May Ching's place at Kyoto, while getting to know her very quiet yet have the elegant-aura friend,Cindy. We had a delicious bowl of noodles for dinner and we chatted non stop the whole night til we were tired and felt to deep slumber. This morning I caught the 3hour train back to Suzuka, joined my tutor and Gen-chan for lunch before spending my time in TY's room, watching Youtube. For the first time,I have to be very careful about being caught in a place I've lived so long, with so much familiarity and nostalgia..It made me realise, though I hate to admit it, that this is no longer where I belong.Everything has to move on..

And so,I'm heading back to Toyohashi again tomorrow. To go back to an unfamiliar and unsettling place, where I have to start making new friends and adapt again. But again, this is life and this is where I am suppose to belong..

*Until I get my internet in 3weeks time...see you peeps..
