~Today~

As I was doing my correction for my thesis,
Feeling down because my first draft was full with red corrections,
I had no idea why,
The song Melody by David Tao sounded especially sad today.
And suddenly there was the urge to find someone to talk to.
Anyone would do..

And then it downed to me that this sudden surge of emotions,
Are sometimes meant for myself and not for others.
Not everyone would lend a sympathetic ear
Nor understand what you are going thru..
Some might think that you're just trying to gain attention,
Or otherwise try to give some pointless suggestions.
Sometimes..
All we need is a person to listen..

Today,
I read my sister's blog..
Found that I missed out a lot..
I also found that I've been thinking a lot about my trip back home next month..
It's different with travelling to other countries..
But funny,I'm more worried this time..
Worried if I could get used to...a familiar surrounding..


Nevertheless,I'm looking forward to it..
The anxiety,the excitement,the worry..
Hard to describe..

年初二,祝我生日快乐。。
也没什么大不了， 只是怀念有家人每逢年初二帮我和表哥庆祝农历生日。。

今年的年初二， 把自己打扮的漂亮一点，
吃好一点。。
其他也没什么了。。

改改论文，
做做试验，
又到电脑面前
浪费时间=P

简简单单，
平平凡凡的一天。。
还不错=)

~Happy Chinese New Year~

Happy Chinese New Year everyone=)
Spent my weekend at Kobe,had lunch with most of the Kansai members namely,Michael,Fook Hee,May Ching,Kim Shing,Joyce,Vincent,Chi Wern and Tang Yii.A pity Wakayama members didn't join us..


Had a good lunch at a Chinese restaurant at Chinatown at Motomachi(forgot to take picture,everyone pounced on the food once it was served=P),spent 3hours on karaoke and then watched 007,had ramen dinner.Then we spent our night drinking and munching new year cookies thanks to Chi Wern who shared the goodies from his home and also May Ching's Bak Gua..So nice.Chit chat and did a lot of fortune telling using tarot cards. They actually stayed awake til about 3.30am predicting their future^_^""


Spent the morning with Pizza Hut for brunch and gambling before heading back to Suzuka..Felt kinda sad that this will be my last visit to Kobe and have these kinda hang-outs because I'll be moving to Toyohashi next year..


Anyway,the Malays girls here were very sweet because knowing Tang Yii and I were tired,they actually made Harumaki(prawn salad wrap,something like popiah) for us..but later I went to get us some cheesecake while TY brought out her super delicious home-made cookies from home.Love the pineapple tarts and cornflakes-butter cookies=)Thanks a lot girls..Had a really great dinner..


Today,slept in class because I was too tired after coming back from Kobe.Not a really important class anyway so can't be bothered.Then I finally managed to complete my thesis,but still need to detail some stuff after my teacher help me check.Today TY made a very delicious Bak Kut Teh for our CNY dinner while I shared me one and only CNY goodie from home.YEE SANG!!!Because it was halal,so the 5 of us again gathered for a good toss=)OMG,didn't know yee sang tasted so good!!So happy=P

有人曾经教我要放慢脚步。。
也有人教过我“静”的美。。
又有人教我凡事不要只想自己的不幸
也不要太过强求。。

有人骂过我太自私
有人说他最看不起我这样的人。。
有人说我看起来自以为了不起。。

当然，
也有人认为我效率高
有人认为我容易交谈，配合度很高。。
也有人认为我很能玩。。
。
。
。
。
。
没想到在百忙之中
会突然间想起很多别人曾经对我的看法
也会突然想，
即将23岁的我。。
有改过吗？
也会想。。
改，
其实是给自己一个交代吗？
还是只是想讨好别人？
讨好别人，又是为了什么呢？
顾不了那么多了。。
问心无愧就好。。

~CNY~

I can't help it..
I've been so darn busy with my research..
Starting from sometimes as early as 10am ending at 9.30pm..
But still I have the time to feel..I don't know how to describe this..
Sad,lonely and that something is missing..
I'm really missing the fire crackers,the food,the gambling..

But most of all..

The company of my relatives in that small town
Ayer Tawar in Perak..

Even if this is my third year in Japan,
Even though during the first CNY I managed to go back to Malaysia..

It doesn't change the fact that I miss my CNY hols in that small town in Perak..
Darn..

~I love Korea~

I have to admit,I started to like Korea after watching Winter Sonata..I never knew there's such a lovely country with such beautiful people..After that it was Korean drama craze for me til the extent that I was quite sure I could speak a few words of Korean.That was then...Now,all I know is the name of food=P

Alright ladies and gentlemen,the long awaited Korea trip post..

First up the food.. (and mostly about it)

Korean ramen..Found at the hawker stalls by the roadside,usually people drink soju with it also..
Gimbab,sushi roll with cooked meat,very tasty..Ginseng Chicken..Got rice inside and the bones of the chicken was boiled til edibly-soft.One of my favorite Korean food..
Side dishes with the main course..
Got shells,fish cakes etc...All hawker food.
Very spicy soy sauce chicken..Thanks to Kai Rou for taking us there..Seafood steamboat..More hawker food..Got very good cheese hot pancake,spicy sausage rolls,meat balls etc..

Roast duck meat...Tofu-chige,bibimbab(mixed rice) and fragrant Korean rice..Very nice spicy sausages,really warmed me up in the cold Christmas night

Nice satay like chicken with soju(Korean alcohol) at the road side stalls..Joyce looking really cute here stirring her seaweed soup noodles..

And etc...Really ate a lot and took a lot pictures of more food but I think enough for now lar..Funny,ate so much didn't even gain 1kg,instead lost 0.4kg=)

Was busy listening to what the guide was saying so didn't really take much picture in this palace..A really beautiful palace I would say but I prefer the next one more..

They have changing of guards every 2 hours or so..All the guards were very tall..

Here,we got ourselves a very cool audio guide for 1000won whereby the tool has a pen-like tip and when you place the tip of the tool on the given map at each part of the palace,the explanation would be given..Very cool..

From here everyone seperated and stroll around the palace ground and agreed to meet 2hours later..I went off alone.I prefer to be alone when visiting places like this..Like what I saw?

Next,the must watch performance in Korea..Nanta.

The must visit shopping heaven,Namdaemun,Dongdaemun and Myeongdong..

Really had a lot of fun in this trip.I thought it would be hard to travel with so many people but it was actually quite fun,maybe because the members was fun to be with in the first place.Enjoyed eating,shopping,knowing some people better and just having 6days of pure fun..Wouldn't mind doing it again.Thanks everyone for making this trip a memorable one..
