Hiroshima day 1

Reach after a morning visit to Himeji with May Ching.Sakura is starting to bloom..Himeji Castle was pretty nice and I could imagine if the sakura reach full blossom,it'll be a very pretty sight.Had Kebab lunch,said to be from Persia and Turkey..It was pretty good but not spicy..

Then had Baskin Robbins..Ishh...Lose weight konon..Took 4hours train to Takehara where we met Chin Leong.He grew a little thinner since I last saw him half a year ago..And then we walked...and walked..goodness..The amount of walking we had to do..It's almost like walking from my house to Mid Valley..Wait,further,maybe???MY poor legs..

It took us about 40minutes of walking from a restaurant to the ferry terminal.I tried my best not to complaint so much but I would appreciate it more if Chin Leong gave us some mental preparation about the distance we were going to walk...

Took ferry to the island where his college is located.It was fun and I can smell sea.It was only 9pm and already the lights were out.Pretty peaceful little town I would say.Even more isolated than mine.I would love to stay here temporarily but definetely not spend my 3 years here,there's really nothing here man..Had a very embarassing 'plunged' into the drain and cut my knee..Isshh...what to do,no street lights mar...Sneaked in to the guys hostel for the first time,no one is around that's y..The hostel is pretty cool,a bit like Oyama's and the cool thing is you get to see the sea from the guy's dorm.Can't wait to tour around tmr..

~travel again~

I'm here after a tiring day off walking back from the hospital,took my new Monggol kohai to buy her stuff and shifting rom..Goodness,it took me 5hours to move one year of stuff..Since when I have s o much rubbish n my room??And oh,bout the kohai..She is 22,but look lke 18,ever the fair and CUTE!!!see her only and the word was CUTE!CUTE!CUTE!..that's the only word that comes to mind...

But after yesterday I had enough of packing and so after lunch with her and Ariff(I belanja 2440yen ler) I made an instant packing and came down to...AKASHI kousen...haha..Felt really bad for leaving my new kohai alone in the hostel but I can't help it..Soo and Diem went to Tokyo and won't be back any time soon..So after teaching her what she needs to know,(and invited her to come along but she dun want,dun blame me ler)I jumped on the 4pm train and got here..

Had sushi dinner wth Mayc,Kim n Michael..tmr..Hiroshima here I come..

~Back to the land of Sakura~

Back to Japan for 3days already.Day1 was more or less about reaching the airport at noon,went Starbucks with May Ching til 4pm and me taking my time back here.Reach at 9pm.In other words it took me 24 hours to actually get back to my room..

Tired out the next day but had to wake up early at 8am cuz they wanna polish and wax our hostel floor.Had a headache..Went out with Soo while waiting for the Monggol kohai to come but in the end will only turn up today.Wasted my time..I wanted to shift room as soon as possible so that I could still go travelling but heck these office people takes their sweet time to check the room etc.Isshh..

And after going for my checkup today I was told that I had to go to what they call 'rehabilitation' for my finger.Seemes like I still haven't recovered fully and my middle finger sorta crooked a little and might overlap with my index finger.So by the end of April,after all the 'rehabilitation',if my finger is still crooked,I might have to go through another opertaion,break the 'healing' bone part and adjust my finger straight again..When I heard this I was like..."NO WAY!!!OMG!!!!!!!"*faint

I DON'T WANT TO GO THROUGH ALL THE PAIN AGAIN!!!!!!

Ishh...Can't I live a life not ruined by my finger????

~A cut~

I got a new haircut,short and spunky..Got it highlighted red and orange..VERY LALA I TELL YOU!!but heck,not a bad image change..

I short entry before I go on with my Hong Kong trip..Now only I noticed I'm going back on SATURDAY night!!!not Sunday!!!SHIT!!the flight is 00.50 Sunday 25th March alright,so that means I have to be at the airport on Saturday night not Sunday...screw..there goes my plans..reschedule reschedule...blah!!!

*grumble grumble..

~Hong Kong~

Saturday morning 4am,was at KLIA with my family.Found our group after a call to our tour guide,Edwin who looked,at most,27..Had McD breakfast and then checked into the plane.Yu Yee was a handful but I enjoyed the 'challenge' of taking care of him.


The flight to HK took 3hours,had shredded chicken noodles,full like giler.Once reaching HK,we were ushered by a HK local tour guide call Paul.Took the bus to Rambler's hotel,owned by HK tycoon Lee Ka Shing.The room was pretty small but very comfortable.Straight after that we went out for lunch again.Fulllllll...

Went to the 'Ladies street' at Mong Kok.Its something like Petaling Street of KL,lots to shop.Tried the smelly taufu there..Then as my family's "guide" I had to make sure my family namely my cousins and aunty and uncle doesn't get lost.Had a great dessert at a shop at Mong Kok,which was really good but alos cost a bomb..After dinner(normal only not really super nice) we went to Madam Tussaud's wax museum.Took lotsa pics there and my,these was figures really look real..We also enjoyed the night view there,though a little fade due to the mist but it was splendid anyway.HK's buildings are tall!!with an average of at least 40storeys high..We also had a glimpse of a place where foreigners enjoy their drink after a hard day's work.Couldn't imagine so many foreigners gather at one place.It's almost like I was not in HK but in America..

Went back the hotel exhausted yet our room was found not in a proper state due to the fact that although the person before had checked out,the room was not cleaned.So after some half an hour I was given another room which I shared with my cousin and my mum,with my aunt..What is this man...Already so tired yet have to face with these problems..

Sunday morning,we went to the place where HK's have a look at people living on small fisherman ships.Got a glimpse of Leon Lai and Lee Ka Shing's private cruise too and also the most expensive restaurant on sea.Also went to visit a monument showing HK's representative flower.I don't know the English name=p..Then we cross over the border to Shenzhen..We took a 45 minute train ride and cross the border,going through cutoms and immigrations etc,with me feeling very weird cuz all this while crossing the customs to me is usually at the airport,not at the train station..

Once reached there we had an early dinner then rush of to watch the Shenzhen cultural dance show.It was fabulous seeing the little China gals twisting their bodies like nobody business.The costumes were also fabulous and believe me,it is very much worth all the rush to see it.All the effects were made to perfection,their perfect gymnastic skills and stunts..I was baffled to say the truth..It was definetly worth it..Went back to the hotel,fell flat after bathing and slept like a log...Again,to be continued..

~My holiday report~

My hols continued with me going to Genting on last Monday til Tuesday.Got an insight on how Genting Casino was like with my cousin.Won RM40 on the first night and lost all of them the next morning with an additional lost of RM110.."-__-Well,the casino was not something I thought it would be.I thought it would be quite a hustle bustle in there but suprisingly it's relatively quiet..I wonder why they say you could get addicted in there and all those stories about having 'small ghost' under the table to make you lose..Cuz it all seemed so normal to me.No ghost no hanky panky,just a lot of old auntyies and uncles quietly putting their bet..

Wednesday was the dayI woke up late since I arrived in Malaysia.Cuz there was no program,that is until Chee Wei called me out for the first time.Pretty suprise seeing that usually I'm the one doing the asking..Went for lunch with him at Mid Valley at Kim Gary's and then I had to rush to get Soo Sing from KL Sentral.After some one hour we went back to Mid Valley and do some window shopping til my mum arrived and had dinner...Again at Kim Gary's..That night Chiang Shen and Kim Shing came over my house to stay for a night.We had mamak and played tarot cards til 2am in the morning..Soo Sing and the guys had a great time talking til 4am while I went sleeping early due to my headache..

Thursday morning..After breakfast we took our sweet time to PPKTJ by taxi.May Ching couldn't join us at the last minute so we didn't have to rush that morning.Along the way we were worried that we wouldn't have anything to say to the kohais or senseis but what do you know?We spent 2hours plus there merely talking.

First we saw Pn. Ros who didn't change one bit.We chatted for about 15minutes before moving to the Japanese senseis namely Eikawa sensei,Atsuko sensei and Ito sensei..The rest of the senseis has either went backed to Japan or ended their term contract.From them I heard that the kohais could no longer get into syosen and that architecture is no longer offered.and I in returned told them about how my kosen works all those..My syllabus..The conversation there took the longest time.

Suprsingly Cik Min still remembers me and along with Kim we chatted quite some bit too..Chiang Shen was very quiet but Soo had no problem chatting with Ishikawa Sensei and Atsuko Sensei.After the short reunion,we went for karaoke at Neway.Before that we had our long-missed KFC,which was superb I tell you.The skin was so crispy albeit oily but hey,KFC in Japan where can compare-lah??THIS is really finger lickin' good man...

Karaoke was super fun,I was suprised at ourselves for fighting over the mic in front of our kohais which includes Teong Rong,Eric and Gane.Last time we used to like give way to others to sing etc,now the scene was like..

1st person:"Shui dian de?"(who chose this song)
2nd person:"wo"(me)
1st person:"but wo ye yao chang"(but I want to sing also)
3rd person:"wo ler???(how bout me??)
4th person;"wo ler wo ler???"
......

It was fun..haha..really fun..Then the guys split up with Soo Sing and I while we rushed back for dinner.(they went for CC games til the next morning..siao eh..*shakes head)Had dinner at Foodcourt...with variety of dishes..My mum just love to feed us..Had lobak,grilled Thai fish,chicken wings,ying yong mien etc..Gemuk gemuk..

Friday was the day I went to Times Square with Soo Sing again,to accompany her for some shopping.She bought quite a lot that day,converting everything to Japanese yen,she could actually buy a lot with a mere RM200.After sending her off,I went for Laksa dinner at the pasar malam with mum and sis..missed it a lot.then walked home after getting my favourite carrot cake dish and cold leng chee kang..Enjoy enjoy..

Then..Packed for Hong Kong!!Saturday morning 3am,got up and went to my aunts place,all cramped in one car and off to KLIA..to be continued..Hong Kong trip..

~Makan Makan~

Saturday was makan day..Woke up early teman mum for lunch with Aunty Vivien..The road there was so easy that I can close my eyes driving but my mum made a wrong turning while on the phone and it took us 1hour plus to get to Imbi palace which only needed 20minutes..But never mind,lunch was great with dim sum and porridge..

Dinner was on Aunty Phang,who had open house and food catering.Char Kuey Teow,Yong Tau foo,Chicken rice,Laksa,Satay,ice kacang..U name it,its there..Needless to say,I had a hard time controlling the quantity taken..

Mamak later on that night with Shengcui,Phooi Fun,Wen Ching,Hui Chien and her boyfriend..My first mamak and I really enjoyed myself.(again though I dodn't really speak that much)..I just enjoyed the company..

Yesterday was also a busy (in a good way) day.Went to meet Min Ley at Times Square,enjoyed 2 hours of karaoke at Neway(the food getting worse) and we had a long relaxing chat at Starbucks.Had a light Korean snack before heading to Stadium Bukit Jalil for Wang Lee Hom concert..(pics upload later when I go back...)

I had hell lot of fun..The drizzle we faced earlier when queing up while waiting to go in did not dampen the mood of fun in the concert..All the seats were taken up and the concert started on time..A very rare case..Lee Hom was out Kung Fu style with a huge flag..And the concert started with a bang..

Its hard to go into details but the concert was fun..With Lee Hom switching from rap to soft melodies,kung fu acts to hip hop dance..It was a perfect balance I say..JJ Lin as guest artist also brought the concert to a whole new level..It was fantastic seeing the 2great singers playing the piano and duet together.. And though I'm not a super duper huge fan of him,I must say I enjoyed seeing him playing the piano,violin,er hu,drums etc..I mean he is sooooo multi-instrument-talented..Impressed...

Min Ley and I had a great time,not as tired as we thought we would be because we were very comfy sitting while watching the concert,until the ending part where everyone got up for a dance..Had mamak for the 2nd time and here comes day 6...Genting Highland,here I come...

~300th~

My 300th blog..and I'm in Malaysia,back to where my first blog started..it has been my 3rd day here..After one sleepless night in Kansai airport,3hours plane to Beijing,5hours of lousy time at Beijing airport and then 6hours of uncomfortable plane ride with Air China,I'm home!!!!

Slept at 3am on the first day and woke up at 8am,and joined Vivian to Mid Valley.Catched my first movie with her,leaving the ticket selller in blur because we showed our students card alright..One from India and one from Japan..haha..but he was nice to let us through..Watched Dreamgirls by Beyonce Knowles,Jamie Foxx and Eddie Murphy,the movie was pretty good..Didn't even realised it was a 3hour movie,passed pretty fast..

Met with juniors soon after that,told them what to expect etc then had my first 'yee sang' dinner..Next day met up with 2more juniors at Mid Valley..Had pan mee for lunch,nice nice...Walking back at Mid Valley,really had the temptation to buy a lot of things but still controlling cuz I'm going to Hong Kong and Shenzhen on the 10th til 15th of March..Where it's said that the stuff are way much cheaper etc..

Today,finally met up with Keat Yee,Chee Wei and Fabian..Had a great chat at 69 and a another movie call Protege..Really long time didn't meet them,and nothing has changed much..Really had fun chatting though I didn't spoke much..Had a little trouble getting my thoughts into words..Language problem?haha...Nah,just need a little effort in putting out my thoughts in canto...hehe..

25days more..My hols are too short..I'll be busy til the last day I go back...I will make it busy!!!haha..Day 4,here I come..
