~Hokkaido~

Going to Tokyo tomorrow,as I have to gather at Tokyo to go for my Hokkaido homestay..tomorrow is my brother's birthday,wonder what to get him.The annual T-shirt gift seems to be a bore already...Don't get me wrong,I love being able to buy something for him and I love getting him shirts that he treasures.This time however,being away from home,I have no idea how much he has grown,migth outgrown the size I have in my mind.Just to play safe,will get him somthing else.Hopefully I can see something nice in Hokkaido.

Had my first imsomnia yesterday night.Went to bed at 10.30pm,after a marathon of drama on Youtube.Woke up to close the window as it was breezy and ended up couln't sleep til 2.30am.Looked back my pics on my laptop.I've gained weight as feared..Really have to lose some weight now.Not for anyone in particular,just for my self satisfaction.Went shopping the last time and it amazed me that I can no longer fit in the clothes I normally could.My waist line has grown,but my weight is reducing compared to when I just came back from Taiwan.Still,its not the weight before I left for Taiwan.So,now I'm somewhere in between.

Wonder if I'll be able to enjoy my Hokkaido trip fully as I have a homework which I cannot do at all.Have to wait for the Japanese to come back to the hostel.2weeks after school reopen,its exam time.Shucks....Not been studying all summer.Great huh?Oh well,its not often we have vacation anyway,play now,think later..Jya

Say only study..Done a bit of homework...Then went to Nagoya and Yokkaichi..Met up with Xin Ning,May Ching and Clement..After that sneaked MayC and Xin to my hostel..Let them stayed the night...Today whole day at Yokkaichi..Ended up with 2 more shirts.There goes my cash..I'm officially a spendthrift...Homework,schmwork..I'm up for dooms day and die of self-guilt..End of story Osu Kannon..One of the small attractions of Nagoya A huge boat which went to the Antarctic Can't resist beautiful thingys....

~Since when?~

Wanted to type in Chinese,but my Chinese is only a form of limited verbal-communication skill.Typing in English seems odd too,nowadays..As I read back my previous post,I can almost laugh out loud at the simpleness and bareness of the passage.Since when,I'm really desperate to know...Have I become such a loser?

Deteriorating in English,verbally wise,I can still accept.(Being surrounded by Japanese language all the time has its affect.)But writing wise?Unacceptable.Its like I'm already at MY peak,can no longer get better.Now,its only limited vocab,stagnant standard.I miss the times where I can read a book a day,picking up words along the way.

Japanese language wise.Ha..another huge joke.Went to homestay,can barely understand three quarter of the words the family is trying to say without asking them to repeat.After 4 months all together.What do I get??Except the fact I spent more money on travelling and gaining the pounds,I also lost my grasp on my languages.Even when I went to Taiwan,I sucked at reading the Chinese characters.I can remember either the way the to read the character or write the character without knowing how to read it.Pathetic,I say...

Since when am I good at anything anyway?I'm always half good,never good enough at anything..

~My summer so far~

After Taiwan,I had been to quite some other places..Including one fireworks display,better know as Hanabi Taikai in Kuwana,a place near the place I'm studying,homestay and another Hanabi Taikai in Hisai,also a place nearby..

My first Hanabi taikai,I went with Soo Sing to her tutor's place where we stayed for the night.I wore the yukata I bought and enjoyed myself at the event.Still,it wasn't completely fun as we went there a bit late and because we chose to look around the stalls,we didn't really watched the fireworks..Some of the nice ones Fireworks,and more fireworks

The fireworks display yesterday though,was more splendid.We stroll around(me,Soo Sing and another tutor of hers) for food first then we found a spot on the huge field and sat down to enjoy the display.It was much better and I got toreally experience the amazing feeling of watching array of fireworks..Its was simply marvellous..

AS for the homestay,it was pretty fun too.Everyday,I had to go to bed by 9.30pm,wake up at 6.20am to help with the chores.AFter breakfast the Ojisan(grandfather) will take me out to visit various places.I love helping out in the kitchen,and found that amazingly,the daughter-in-law have marvellous cookery skills.The Japanese actually take the effort to decorate every dish nicely,garnish,put with equal amount etc.Well,of course the outings with the grandfather was great too,aside from taking me to various places,explaining patiently each places significance, he also treat me to expensive meals,took good care of me when I was feeling a little unwell...(and vomitted,dirtied my clothes..He even paid for the new shirt I picked up when we were at a department store,getting medicine for me)Paiseh..

Overall,I can say I had a great time at my homestay.I enjoyed helping out in the kitchen and watering the plants in the garden.It has been long since I had a garden to water plants with.Helping out at the kitchen was fun too..And the places I've visited was quite educational,although half of the time I was having trouble understanding certain words the Grandfather was telling me,but I tried my best to do so.And in return,I taught him how to use the internet.haha.Anyway,had fun..This is the link for the photos of my homestay..(the grandfather was more eager to take the pics than I do,telling me someday,ages and ages hence,I'll remember that I've once visited these places...)Homestay in Suzuka

So back to reality,its time for me to start my homework.This is before I head to Hokkaido for my homestay..Sheesh,the nagging feeling I have for not starting my homework is really bothering me already.Gotta start.Bassyhhaaa!!Fighting!!(too much Korean drama..sigh,addicted)

~Taiwan Part 3~

And the next few days is all about Taipei..We even visisted Taipei University...Felt like UM..Too long ago a story...(The lack of pics is due to the fact that my camera has limited place and the rest is in Shutterfly..in other words...lazy upload)sO I shall end here..Sorry if it lacks the ummphh...I've just came back from homestay and 2 fireworks display..update soon...muakks
